Basic Strokes - Forehand Drop Shot Against a Lob

While I'm on the subject of dealing with lobs, I thought I would discuss a different way of dealing with lobs than just smashing the ball. Instead of using sheer power to defeat a lobber, a deft touch can also do the trick.

This is where the drop shot against a lob comes into its own. Nothing beats a really good drop shot for stopping a lobber from wearing you down. So if you have problems hitting through a lobber, check out my tips on how to mix in some soft stuff along with the power you have been using for better results.
