Forehand Pivot Simple Ping-Pong Drill

Friday September 21, 2007
How does your backhand attack stack up against your forehand? If you are like most players, you probably answered that your forehand is the more powerful and reliable stroke. In that case, it makes sense to do two things:
  • Improve your backhand attack - (I've got some backhand drills you can practice here)
  • Improve your footwork and decision making, so you can use your forehand more often.
Today, I'm going to suggest a simple drill that will help you get your forehand into play more often, by improving your pivot around the backhand corner to play a forehand from the backhand side of the table.
