In any sport, there are a number of myths that are commonly believed to be true by the general public. Table tennis has even more misconceptions than most sports, since it is a sport where high level ping-pong play is incredibly different from low level competition. So in addition to the myths believed by the general public, there are also a number of mistaken beliefs held by low level players about high level play. Here's a debunking of the many myths and misconceptions about table tennis.

Hi Greg, it is a nice article, but it is really old? Can you not upload new articles instead of uploading articles again?

Yep, it’s a repeat from a year or two ago. I’m on working holiday through the UK and Western Europe at the moment, with no guarantee of internet access, so I’ve set up some old articles to be posted so that the posts are at least changed on the site every few days. I’ll still be trying to write as much new stuff as I can, but it’s a hassle to then get in and remove the repeats, so I left this old post up even though I had written several new bits of content this week. I hope everyone doesn’t mind too much. Plus many of our newer readers may not have seen the article before, so I hope it’s not a repeat for everyone. As I said above, I’ll still try to put up as much new stuff as I can.
