Way back in 1986, a friend of mine who I played basement style ping-pong with at school suggested I visit his home for the weekend, and join him at a table tennis club for juniors that he had just started attending. I thought "Why not?" and the rest is history, 24 years later I'm still playing.
Alan Williams of NA Table Tennis has started an interesting thread in the forum, explaining how former Guide Sean O'Neill was introduced to table tennis by an unlikely series of events.
