Forehand Counterloop Simple Drill

Monday August 20, 2007
Many players practice their counterlooping by standing away from the table and beginning the rally by hitting the ball directly into their opponent's forehand court, similar to a tennis serve, but using a loop stroke.

While this approach can be useful for players just learning to counterloop, the addition of long serves and a loop return of serve can increase the usefulness of the forehand counterloop drill considerably, while still keeping the drill fairly simple to perform. Check it out!
