Whether you are new to table tennis or an experienced player, our Table Tennis/Ping-Pong Forum is a great place to get together with fellow table tennis enthusiasts and discuss our exciting and unique sport.

Although your Guide, Greg Letts, is always available to answer your questions, using the forum will allow your questions to be viewed and answered by other forum members, and allow their answers to be of assistance to a larger number of people. Feel free to use this forum to ask questions, express your opinion, and spread relevant information. Profane or obscene posts will not be tolerated, so please keep the content and concepts used in your posts at an appropriate level.

Please note that you can refer other forum members to sites relevant to table tennis, but advertisements are not allowed. As site guide, Greg will be visiting and contributing to the forum on a regular basis, and will moderate all discussions.

The Spirit of the Forum

This forum is intended to be a place where table tennis enthusiasts can come and enjoy themselves while discussing ping-pong with each other. The guiding principle here is this:

COMMIT NO NUISANCE

Broadly speaking, help make the forum better, not worse! A little bit of common sense and courtesy from everyone will be worth a thousand nitpicky rules.

The Time-Out System

Each poster gets three warnings for bad behaviour. (Here are links to the Table Tennis/Ping-Pong Forum Guidelines and About.com User Agreement ). Once a member has a third warning he will be gagged for a month (he can read the forum, but not make any posts). A Time-out warning will be removed after 1 month without further warnings.

If you think a forum member has overstepped the mark, use the 'Report Violation' to send me a private notice (do not post your complaint in the forum). If I agree with you, I'll record a warning for that member in this thread. If someone insults you, and you insult them back, you can both expect a warning.

The idea here is to make the forum a nicer place to visit, and hopefully make those people who want to drag this forum down into the mud change their ways. I don't want to stop anyone from enjoying this forum, but I want it to be a place that everyone can come to and have fun.
