Points to look for:
- The player has finished pushing with his left leg, and is back in an evenly balanced stance.
- The player has recovered at this depth from the table because he expects another push from his opponent. If he expected his opponent to attack the ball with power, the player would have pushed back further with his left leg, and then moved his right foot further back as well, placing him further from the table and giving him more time to deal with his opponent's fast attack.
