Points to look for:
- The forearm snap is continuing, so that the bat is moving much faster than the playing arm from the elbow upwards. By comparing previous photos it can be seen that the playing elbow is only being moved by the turning of the waist and shoulders up to this point.
- If the ball was compared to a clockface, the bat is going to make contact at a point roughly around the numbers 9-10, while the bat was moving mainly forwards and slightly up. Note that the angle of the bat remains fairly vertical (just a little bit closed).
