Points to look for:
- The knees and torso have continued to push upwards, as part of the upward motion of the swing.
- The upper playing arm has stopped moving upwards at shoulder height, while the forearm has continued to rise.
- The ball is traveling in an upwards and forwards trajectory that will take it high above the net, due to the direction the player has swung (upwards and a little forwards). This is consistent with a defensive lob. For offensive lobs, the player would swing more forwards and less upwards, producing a lower trajectory ball with heavy kicking topspin.
