The player is continuing his recovery to the ready position.

Points to look for:

  • He is continuing to straighten his body from his crouch to the right.
  • The left leg has begun to move backwards, allowing the player to recover slightly further away from the table than he started.
  • The playing arm is beginning to move back up to its normal neutral ready position.
  • The player is continuing to watch his opponent and the progress of the ball.
  • The shoulders, hips and waist have almost returned to their starting positions.
