Points to look for:
- The player has decided that the opponent will not reach the ball, and as such is not moving quickly back into his ready position. If he is wrong and his opponent gets to the ball, the player could be caught unprepared.
- Note that the player is still watching his opponent, so if he decides the opponent might reach the shot after all, he can speed up his return to the ready position. This is not as good as returning quickly to his ready position in the first place, in which case he would be prepared regardless of what his opponent does.
