The player has realized the ball is coming to his forehand, and he is moving to his right to reach the ball.

Points to look for:

  • The player is in a fairly square stance, which is fine since he will be using a defensive lob, which is upwards and a little forwards. For a more offensive lob, the player could use a slightly more forehand stance, with the left leg a little in front of the right.
