I'm looking to buy a new table tennis table. I'm trying to decide between Brand X, Model 1, and Brand Y, Model 2. Which ping-pong table do you recommend?
I've played a lot on the Stiga Expert, Elite Roller, and Stiga Basic Roller tables (which I have reviewed in detail), and on the old Joola 2000-S model in the past, along with a couple of Butterfly models here and there. I've even tried one of the latest Dawei tables recently (it was OK). I'll continue to review more tables as I come across them in my table tennis travels.
But in the meantime, what's the answer to the question of which table is best? Well, until the leading table tennis table manufacturers starting sending me ping-pong tables to test, my advice is to ask the question in my table tennis forum. With the number of table tennis players who visit, there is a pretty good chance that someone will have some experience with any model that you are interested in, and will be willing to give you the benefit of their personal experience. They are a pretty friendly bunch, so don't be shy!
