Definition: A blocker is a player whose prefers to hit blocks as his main stroke.

Aggressive blockers use blocks to set up a strong attack to win the point.

Defensive blockers focus on blocking the ball consistently and with difficult placement, hoping to force the opponent to make the first mistake.
