Points to look for:
- The player has almost finished returning his bat to a neutral ready position, with his free arm in synch with his playing arm.
- As mentioned previously, the player has recovered so that he is facing towards the line of play, which is coming from his opponent's backhand corner.
- The player is in mid-bounce - he will move further down into his crouch as he continues to get ready for his next stroke.
