Points to look for:

  • As it is possible to see from this and subsequent photographs, the player has looped the ball crosscourt.
  • The speed of the bat and forearm is shown by the heavy blurring of both in the photo.
  • Note the lesser amount of blurring of the playing elbow and upper arm in this photograph. This is because the forearm has been snapped through the swing, and the elbow has reached the end of its upward movement.
