Points to look for:
- The follow through has finished at around head height. A longer follow through would not give the player enough time to get ready to make his next stroke.
- The playing elbow has remained below shoulder level. Lifting the elbow further would not help the stroke and would hamper recovery. By comparing the position of the elbow to the previous photographs in the sequence, it can be seen that the elbow does move, but through a relatively small range of motion.
- The player has straightened his body during the stroke due to the upwards force of his swing.
- The player is now watching to see how his opponent will handle his loop.
- The player's free arm has remained relatively still throughout the stroke.
