The player is in the middle of his follow through.

Points to look for:

  • The blurring of the racket makes it possible to see the direction of the bat after contact - the bat moves upwards, and more to the right than forwards, following the forearm's natural range of motion.
  • Again, the high speed of the bat and forearm is evident, when compared to the lesser motion of the upper arm.
  • The player is maintaining his forward lean throughout the stroke, which will keep him balanced.
