The player has now returned to his ready position.

Points to look for:

  • The player has returned his bat to a neutral ready position, with his free arm in synch with his playing arm.
  • As mentioned previously, the player has recovered so that he is facing towards the line of play, which is coming from his opponent's backhand corner.
