Points to look for:

  • As it is possible to see from this and subsequent photographs, the player has looped the ball crosscourt.
  • The speed of the bat is shown by the heavy blurring of the bat in the photo.
  • Note the lesser amount of blurring of the playing elbow and upper arm in this photograph. This is because the forearm has been snapped through the swing.
  • The ball has been struck with heavy spin and a lesser amount of speed, as shown by the comparative lack of blurring of the ball in this photograph.
