Points to look for:
- The bat is being lowered back into a neutral position, bearing in mind that the ball has been hit crosscourt.
- The player is now focusing on how his opponent is handling his loop.
- The player is now facing the new line of play, which is from his opponent's forehand corner.
- The free arm has been used as a counterweight throughout the stroke, to balance the player, instead of dropping low and swinging up to mimic the playing arm.
- The player has finished his stroke in a balanced position, being able to move in any direction easily. This is much better than finishing with the body leaning to the left, which is common among lower level players.
