Points to look for:
- The player has almost returned his bat to a neutral ready position, with his free arm back in synch with his playing arm.
- As mentioned previously, the player has recovered so that he is facing towards the line of play, which is now coming from his opponent's forehand corner, instead of the backhand corner.
- The player is moving further down into his crouch as he continues to get ready for his next stroke.
