The ball is on its way over the net, and the player has finished his follow through.

Points to look for:

  • The follow through has finished at just above shoulder height. A longer follow through would not give the player enough time to get ready to make his next stroke.
  • Note that the player's head and body have now stopped blurring, since they are relatively stationary. Ideally, the head and body would be still just before contact is made, to allow the best contact with the ball.
