The player has made contact with the ball.

Points to look for:

  • Although the right leg is pushed forward, the player is maintaining a slight forward lean from the upper torso to allow him to remain balanced while stroking the ball.
  • It would be better if the player had managed to get fully in position before hitting the ball - the slight blurring of the player's body shows that he is still moving into position while making contact.
