Points to look for:

  • From this angle, it is possible to compare the high speed the wrist and forearm are moving in comparison to the slower upper arm and shoulders.
  • The blurring of the bat also displays the direction the bat has taken - a relatively straight line forwards and upwards when viewed from the side.
  • The player is watching the ball right on to the bat.
