The player has stepped in with his right foot, and is about to make contact with the ball.

Points to look for:

  • From this angle, it is possible to see that the right foot of the player has been placed quite a distance under the table, to allow him to reach the ball.
  • The relative lack of blurring of the wrist also shows that the player is not using a lot of wrist snap.
