Points to look for:

  • Since this particular serve was performed only for the camera, the player has not recovered into a proper ready position for his next stroke. His legs should be wider than shoulder width apart, with knees bent, and a slight forward lean. This would allow him to move to the next stroke more easily.
  • The bat is now pointing forward in a neutral position, and can be moved to play a forehand or backhand equally easily.
