Points to look for:

  • The player has moved into a deep crouch, with more of his bodyweight on his right leg.
  • The blurring of the bat shows the speed the bat is moving, as well as showing that the forehand side of the bat (the red side) is facing away from the camera through the contact part of the service motion.
  • Note also that the ball is hit only slightly downwards, rather than straight down into the table, which would make the ball bounce too high.
