Singapore's Wang Yue Gu will be competing in her first Olympic Games in Beijing. Wang has had a successful 2007, including reaching the Round of 16 in Women's Singles at the 2007 World Championships.
Wang is a right handed shakehand attacker, who uses short pips rubber on her backhand. She is pictured here about to perform one of her forehand services. Note how Wang holds the racket loosely with her fingers to allow for more range of motion during the serve.
