At age 32, this might be the second and last Olympic Games for Hong Kong's Li Ching. In 2004, he reached the last 32 of the Men's Singles, and was the silver medalist in the Men's Doubles with his partner Ko Lai Chak.
Pictured here keeping an eye on his contact with the ball, Li is a close to the table penhold attacker and he will be hoping to step up to a gold medal, although with the Men's Doubles event cut from the schedule and replaced by a Men's Team event, it will be in the Men's Singles that Li Ching will have to make his mark.
