This is the STTA trophy cabinet. I would have expected more trophies in total, but perhaps the rest are kept in storage somewhere. After all, there is only so much space in the foyer!
I wonder if this cabinet will be holding an 2008 Olympic Games Silver Medal in the near future?
The foyer itself was empty of staff (you are supposed to find the duty person inside the hall and pay them for your court hire, a very reasonable $4 Sing per hour), so I summoned up the courage to push open the magical doors that would allow me inside the place where Singapore silver medalists Li Jia Wei, Wang Yue Gu, and Feng Tianwei trained to prepare for their Olympic success. What wonders would I find?
