Alex finished the teams competition with a 9-9 win-loss record.
Alex had notable wins over Piers Carter, Trent Carter and Danny Semmler in the teams competition, and followed up with a win over Chamara Fernando in the Men Singles round of 16 (from 0-3 down, winning the 7th 14-12!), losing to eventual Mens Singles winner Z.Z.Liu in a tough 4-2 quarterfinal.
