Kiet continued his good form over the last year with another strong performance, finishing as the No.3 Australian for the tournament.
Kiet lost a 7 game thriller in the Mens Singles Round of 16 to Scott Houston, losing the last two games 12-14 and 11-13. In the Mens Doubles he advanced to the semifinals with partner George Tang, while in the Mixed Doubles he again reached the semi-finals, this time with partner Peri Campbell-Innes.
Notable wins for Kiet included victories over Chamara Fernando, Kyle Davis, Piers Carter, and Scott Houston (in the teams event).
