Scott finished the teams competition with a good 14-7 win-loss record. In the Mens Singles he won a thriller over Kiet Tran in their round of 16 match, before going down to X.L.Cai of Singapore in the quarterfinals.
Scott made the quarterfinals of the Mens Doubles with partner Chamara Fernando, and did the same in the Mixed Doubles with May Cho, losing to the eventual winners X.L.Cai and B.B.Sun of Singapore.
Scott had excellent victories over Xuyen Tran, Andy Shih, and Kyle Davis in the teams competition, and Kiet Tran in the Mens Singles.
