Peri Campbell-Innes took a step closer to breaking the dominance of Victoria's 'Chinese Triad' of Miao Miao, Stephanie Sang, and Jian Fang Lay, defeating both Stephanie Sang and Jian Fang Lay in the Women's Teams competition. In the Women's Singles, Stephanie turned the tables on Peri, winning 4-2 in their semifinal match.
Nonetheless, Peri had a fine tournament, finishing at #4 in the Order of Merit, and with a Bronze Medal in the Women's Singles, and a Silver Medal in the Women's Doubles with sister Claire. Peri is pictured here getting some timely advice from ex-Australian champion player Brett Clarke.
