David Zhuang is a chinese penholder style player, who uses short pips in order to play his successful close to the table attacking game.

Tahl's Take
Some people have said that David Zhuang is the most intelligent table tennis player in the country. They might be right. David is always changing his tactics and his game play to disturb his opponent. His tactics worked quite well this year (2006) when he captured his fifth US National Singles title. David plays short pips, pen-hold. His backhand block is exceptional only second to his adaptability and brains.
