Whitney Ping is a two wing looper who is looking to make her second Olympic team in 2008. She has had her share of bad luck in the past, injuring her ankle in the 2001 USA World Team Trials and being snowed in and unable to make the 2003 USA World Team Trials, but Whitney has not let these setbacks deter her and she was duly rewarded with a 2004 Olympic team berth.

Tahl's Take
Whitney made the 2004 US Olympic Doubles Team. She also won the US Women's National Doubles championship. Whitney has a great attitude for the game. She is a very hard worker in practice. Her backhand counter is very good.
