Players of this style use heavy topspin loops from both sides of their body, typically employing a shakehand shallow grip. The speed of the loop can vary from player to player, ranging from players using a spinny loop with moderate speed, to other players using a speed loop with moderate topspin.

Distance from the Table:

The distance from the table can vary, with some players preferring to play around 3 feet from the table and using a shorter stroke, while others go back as far as 6-8 feet and use a longer stroke.

Typical Equipment:

These players typically use speed glue and 2.0mm to maximum thickness sponge inverted rubbers, combined with an offensive or faster blade.

Popularity:

This has become the most dominant style in the highest ranks of the game, and is also very common in the lower ranks as well.
