Contact With the Ball

The player has made contact with the ball.

Points to look for:

  • Although the left leg is pushed forward, the player is maintaining a slight forward lean from the upper torso to allow him to remain balanced while stroking the ball.
  • The player has managed to get fully in position before hitting the ball - the lack of blurring of the body and head in the photo confirm this. By having his body and head still at the time of contact, the player will find it easier to make good contact with the ball.
